Q: copd

My Dr. said I have presisting asthma and chronic bronchitis. Does this mean I have COPD?

Hi Mekisha,

 

Thanks for posting this question. Chronic bronchitis is a type of COPD, as is emphysema. They are two very similar diseases. Asthma, however, is a different sort of respiratory disease. Here's an article that may help you understand the differences and similarities:
