do i need 2 mg or 4mg

I smoke under a pack a day, at least 10 or 12 cigarettes. Should I get the 2mg or 4mg Nicorette gum? And about how long, on average, will I need to take this smoking aid for?

Hello Athena:
I am using Commit Lozenges, and according to the
instructions, if you smoke your first cigarette within 10 mins
of waking up in the morning, use 4mg dose. If you smoke
your first cigarette after 30 mins on waking up, use 2 mg dose.
