SMOKING AND CHEMO

A friend who was diagnosed with acute myloid Llukemia in March 09 died June 09 the dr. suspected that a blot clot went to heart or brain. I found out soon after her death that a friend of hers was sneaking cigarettes to her in the hospital. Did this increase her risk for clots?
