quit smoking 2 months ago and now I have shortness of breath

I am a 48 year old female smoked for 34 years about a pack a day. I quit 2 months ago and now with even the smallest exertion I am out of breath and especially when I go on my 1 mile walk a day I started to do when I quit. What could it be?

it normal, it's your lungs cleaning and repairing themselves in a nutshell, will disappear with time, depending on how dirty your lungs are
