Q: Could I really have MS?

I had a car accident in 1990 (I was 30 yrs old) and the CT showed lesions in my brain like those consistent with MS.  I didn't think much of it because I had no symptoms except headaches.  Now I am 49 and had an MRI a year ago.  The report said the same, lesions (white matter?) consistent with MS.  For the past year I have been in constant pain throughout my body and it's getting worse every day.  I have have my kness give out and have fallen.  By the  end of the day my knees are so swollen they look like tennis balls.  Sometimes my hands don't have enough strength to open a can or twist off bottle.  I have to hold a beverage with 2 hands to get it to my mouth without spilling because I am so uncoordinated and shakie at times.  Could this be MS? I have been daignosed with fibermyalgia but the nuerologist dismissed MS. I think it's more.  I am not over weight at all.  I'm 5' 7 and weigh 110.  Please help me figure this out?
