A three-in-one "polypill"--aimed at reducing the financial and practical burden for patients--will launch in Spain in 2009. The pill combines a cholesterol-lowering drug (which experts suspect to be simvastatin, the generic of Zocor), a blood-pressure drug, and aspirin and is designed to prevent second heart attacks.
