    Yes it does seem like when one is depressed, sometimes the smallest of things, things which might not otherwise disturb us, sink in and stay in our psyche.  It is really good that you have the perspective to recognize what things for you indicate depression.  You have a lot of self awareness.

    Over the years, I have very good times and then I seem to get very depressed. sometimes for no reason, when it happens I just shut down and sleep all the time. Then I come out of it just as suddenly and I have to restart my life because I have lost everything by that point. reading your article has just made me realize that I'm not the only person with my symptoms I think Im going to see if I can find help before I lose everything again.
