friends?

By lissa Wednesday, November 25, 2009

What do you do when someone is supposed to be your friend but at times act like they arent and just say hi when they see you. Like just someone your associated with?

Hi, My advise to you would be, dont take this type of friendhship as it seems to be on their terms, so when THEY feel like it, they say hello. Not good enought, friendship is about consistency and continuity and loyalty. Move away , pick nicer friends or just ask out straight ? why you not asking ? I'd be hurt and would have to ask. Best of luck anyway. But dont forget, youre on here because of Depression. Hanging around people who dont affirm us, who treat us badly and dont makee us feel good about ourselves isnt good for mental healthy problems, esp. depression. Best of luck.

I agree. If they are friends when it suits them then i dont need them.

Yep, its as simple as that, 1 good friend is equal to a dozen false ones. We ll never get perfection in a friend, we are not perfect ourselves, but the basics, loyalty, friendhship, consistency , and the manners to say hello when they see us is just basic.  Best of luck and pick  your friends wisely.

hi lissa

They think you are an aquintence of theirs

Friends enjoy each others company

Friends usually do things together not always

I think you have a good interest in people btw it sounds

Everybody won't be your friend

But those who are will care if you are around

Happy thanksgiving

not everybody is going to like you but there are hundreds more in your lifetime that will. Try not to dwell on this one person.Don't let it get the best of  you.Being sensitive is a good thing [ it shows that you lcare for other people].but don't let it rule your life. You will be fine, try to make new friends.goodluck
