My sister just attempted suicide and while in the hospital she was diagnosed with major depressive disorder-recurrent. I have since uncovered a lot of history with her that she kept hidden about earlier episodes--beginning in her late 20's. So, right now, I'm reading everything I can about depression so that I can understand and so that I can help her. Your writings are the most phenomenal pieces of work that I have come across in terms of helping family members to provide the best support for their loved one with depression. You write clearly and it's from the heart--it's practical and to the point. I'm going to share your website and blog with my sister as a resource for her. thank you from the bottom of my heart.
