    There are two things one can conclude from this study.

    1. people who are depressed don't function as well as those who are not.

     

    2. The team doing this study has no idea of how to do a meaningful study and yet insist on drawing conclusions that are meaningless.

     

    Oddly enough the FAA will allow pilots to fly with depression but not if they are treated with antidepressants:

    Oh, for goodness' sake. I wonder what the justification for that is. Do they actually equate antidepressants with street drugs? I wonder if they allow them to take blood pressure medication.
