        Hi Debra:   I suffered from depression for 18 years.   this was back starting from the late 1970's.   Do you know that  your depression can include something called IL-#1 Beta which is a substance or interleuken in your blood, this attaches onto and becomes a part of your white blood cells.  Even if it is not detected in a blood test does not mean for sure it isn't there.   I have a lot more info on depression from my own if you are interested in how I got well.   I found out for me counseling (the correct kind specifically for me really helped for the rest of my life)!!     Sincerely,  Arlene
