The other day, I took an impromptu break at work to buy something to drink. "I'm just so dehydrated," I told my boss. "My blood pressure medication does that to me - maybe yours is having the same effect."   Aha. That was probably it. Due to my elevated blood pressure, my doctor had strongly s...

It does seem like the side effects are the major reason people do stop taking medications.  And some of the side effects I have heard of just while being on this site can be doozies.  So one has to constantly judge whether or not it is worth it to hang in there.  I am glad you talked about looking at the bigger picture.

    Mmmm...bagels...now I am hungry!

    understand that...

I drink more water and lay off the coffee etc.  I have to have my pepsi every once in a while.  cut back on the salt--as they all say but I understand---

Keep track of the problems so you can tell your doctor and always remember that

why do you have to explain to your boss?  If you have a disability--then it is "medically necessary" that you get a drink!!  hydration will cause dizziness, etc...

also if you like Pedilaite(spelling is wrong) but it is really good in tea--I get the unflavored but they do have bubblegum etc.  People only think you can use it when you are sick but you can use it anytime.....

Please don't let your boss bully you.......

You're right - I often explain myself because whenever I'm away from my desk, someone else has to cover for me. But I really don't need to.

We have been so brainwashed sometimes..that includes myself--about having to explain ourself to others.  We are responsible people and why should we have to do that.  I totally understand.  I know I had to break people I worked--I finally started telling them I was going to the bathroom ..after while they asked me to quit telling them.

I have gained weight on these anti-meds and Propranalol I have put on about a stone, but tried to give them up My Dr stopped the Seroxat cold turkey, and was I ill with anxiety and panic attacks, that was six years ago,  and the Cipralex are of the same family as SSRIs, but how does one choose either have the panic attacks, or put on weight, which does cause depression, .

I once took ANAFRANIL, for 5 years and my weight never varied.  I was 8st 7lbs for years,  I do worry about the weight gain,

I am also n Valium 35 years, and am unable to stop them now, so I am told. I suffer from Agoraphobia many years
