I have been living with depression for the last 10 years. It hurts so bad sometimes that I wonder if there is anyone on this planet that feels what I feel. Most of all I feel my children have suffered the most from my illness and I don't know how to be better for them. This is a pain I do not wish on my worst enemy.

Many of us understand what you are saying.  I hope you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Take care.

I would find a different psychiatrist. I have suffered off and on with depression, bipolar? for 18 years. A doctor should have made med changes or additions LONG before 2 years. What is his response to you not getting better but worse?

I know life can really kick you around and I know all about hurt, sadness, and pain.  I will not lie and say I think I would ever kill myself I know I wouldnt but I will say somtimes I feel so many emotions I do want to fall asleep and never wake up.  Or just get in my car and drive with the music up so loud I can not hear my thoughts but I think of mu little girl and that feels me with joy the one thing I did good in my life and I know I need to work harder, be happy, and strong always for her.  So when I feel the hurt is to much I get in my car and drive with the radio up I just drive home or I cry alone until I cant cry anymore.  I know your in pain but you can get through it!  When you get so down and feel like you cant handle anymore and then you get kicked some more you will find the strenght to hold on in your kids.
