Fear of Lamictal

Let me calm your fears...I could not live without my lamictal--granted all medications have side affects but how are you going to know if it helps you if you don't try it.

it usually takes about two weeks to take affect but your fears will calm down....

Be at peace with yourself...

Take the medication!!!  ((:>))

As catlady971 pointed out the only way to find out is to try it. My life partner has tryed every drug and every drug combination in the last 33 years and finally found one that works for her. I must say that the use of lamictal for depression is one I had not heard of but she is on it as well as Cymbalta and seems to be doing very well on the combination. Oh, by the way I am not a doctor so what do I know except that my girl is doing well. As some of the old commercials used to say: "Try it you might like it" hope this helps. JPQuigley

i have been on lamictal for 3 years and it is like a wonder drug for me.  i have done paxil, prozac, wellbutrin, effexor as well as others which i don't remember.  in may i couldn't afford to buy it and was a mess all month.  now i feel back to normal or as normal as i will ever be.  good luck with the new medication.  it is worth trying as it might be the right one for you.
