I feel for you. While my depression started only a year ago, I know what it is like to have NO GET UP AND GO.  I have tried to make myself do things but it seems it adds to my depression.  I will pray for you and pls. email me anytime.

My depression started when I was 14 and I had another major bout at 33....I was determined to get well.  I'm not sure if you are taking medication or have had any medical intervention. You can feel better but you need to start to change some little things.  Just try to do one thing a day. Make a list a tick them off. I remember a time when I didn't feel capable of making a piece of toast...but I had two little kids and just had to.  After about 18months I was put on the right medication and my depression lifted but it took 4 different pdocs and trialling 4 different medicines( most which were pretty hopeless) to find one at the right dose which worked. You can do this. Be determined to get well and at the moment just take one day at a time. You only have to get through ONE day. Its all we all have. That is something my depression taught me.  Best wishes. Rusty
