Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 10:42 AMI too, was dianosed about 5 years ago with Bipolar after an incident of mania. I tend to be more on the depression side, so without knowing I had bipolar I was give cymbalta and it made things so much worse! To make a long story short, I have been through different medications and doses and they have finally come up with the right cocktail. But it took time, therapy and more time.
It is not easy being diagnoised with bipolar. I was inpatient numerous times and no one saw it. Not until it got really bad.
Thank you for posting this, I hope other read it!
