I want to go home. Home is in South Florida. I've been living in TN since November 16, 2007. I moved here to start a new life with my fiance. I have no family or friends here. My fiance's family and friends are here though. They're nice, but I miss my family. I came here to run away from my problems. That didn't work. I can't deal. I want to drink most of the time but I don't because that will cause more problems. I have cravings for drugs and alcohol every day. I want to meet someone who understands me and knows what it's like. Maybe someone reading this will know what to say.
In November of 2005 i quit my job and got on a greyhound to meet a guy off the internet i'd never met before. two years and a few months later, he is my husband. I moved to wyoming from new york for a year. i was so homesick i didnt know what to do. i was still struggling with my depression and self mutiliation. i didnt have a job and i slept all the time. i will never regret meeting my now husband but it was really hard. i guess i cant say i turned to alcohol and drugs. i got drunk a few times and thats when everything spilled out of me. sometimes i cut but mostly i slept. i know that it's hard being away from your family and i dont have any answers for you. maybe you guys could move to florida for a while after you get married? it's all about compromise on that end. im probably the worst one to give advice but i hope your able to get some help and stay connected to your family; even though it hurts to be far away. best of luck.
