went for a walk to set my mind at ease
i knew you were still here
cause i could feel you in the breeze
i saw your smile as you swept through the trees
then all became calm, when you smiled at me
I focused on a song to fight the tears
it was one of the songs ,you loved to hear
I prey your safe where you have gone
you will live in our memories everlong
until that day when it's my time to go
you just keep smiling, with your beautiful glow

Hi there
I do like your poem...and words to remember your loved one. One outlet for grief is to write about it. I hope this helps you in some way.
This reminds me of a movie I saw...now if only I could remember the name. It was an asian film...and at the end...when one of the main characters dies...their loved one feels them in the breeze. It was such a beautiful and poignant moment in the movie. I need to remember the title of this movie! Maybe..."Fearless"?
anyways...keep writing...you say so much with your words.
I love the poem also...Poetry is a wonderful way of expressing yourself and in a creative manner that allows curiosity and discovery...keep it up...and keep us posted...and don't forget you added value to the lives of those you have lost as well as they added value to yours. Value their gifts to you .... and value your gifts to them also. I can tell by your poem you extend care to others and now you need to give yourself permission to extend care and attention to yourself. You deserve it !

Dear Merely Me & Co.
Isn't Fearless the film with Jeff Bridges about the man who survives an extremely traumatic plane crash and then believes himself to be immortal....I think the tag line was "some people are afraid of nothing" .....I remember he had an allergy to strawberries that he temporarily managed to eat without an anaphylatic attack..until ????
However, perhaps there is another film of that name out there. Please do let me know.
Hey Hypno...
Nope...that is not the movie I was thinking of. This movie has Jet Li in it...from Hero. It was either "Fearless" or another one. My memory is shot! I blame my Multiple Sclerosis. I love Jet Li...most any movie I have seen with him it is is remarkable.

Fearless(2006)
Inspired by the story of a real-life hero, Fearless is a thrilling masterpiece from action superstar Jet Li. When an illadvised fight destroys the reputation of a renowned martial arts champion (Li) and his family, his difficult path to redemption will bring him face-to-face with the most ferocious fighters in the world. Orchestrated by Yuen Wo Ping, the legendary choreographer of The Matrix and Kill Bill , this sensational, riveting epic is being described as 'astounding' and 'visually stunning with brilliantly executed fight sequences' (Pete Hammond, Maxim ).
Is this the one? There are trailers on the website so enjoy Jet Li.
