OMIGAWD! c:
I was just reading Reader's Digest (I really need a life) and I came across the health section- which I usually ignore, but in a little inset paragraph read something about how fish oil supplements can work as an antidepressant! They conducted a test where three times a day a group of depressed women took fish oil supplements and over a course of six months, 87% felt better! (Don't blame me if I got the numbers wrong. Something around 87%.) It wasn't said if it worked on men though, and I am really not sure if it will work. Anyway, try it! Give me feedback! Tell me if it works!!!!!

Hey there
I am all about the natural ways to decrease depression so...I take SAM-e, I have the B vitamins with folate and the fish oil pills. I think that supplements can help along with a good diet...exercise...support...etc. But everyone is different and there are different levels of depression. So...you do different things.
Do I believe that supplements are some miracle cure for depression? no. but then again nothing is...in my humble opinion.
Always tell your doctor what you are taking even when it is a supplement as they can interact sometimes...with whatever else you are taking prescription wise or other.
Let me know what you think if you begin to take the supplements.
