So what are all us abstainers supposed to do? Here we thought we were being good and healthy.

The article isn't a suggestion that we all take to the bottle, so much as it points out what can happen if regular moderate drinkers stop. Also, it's not the alcohol that provides the health benefits - alcohol is really just a toxin but is fine in moderation - it's what comes with it that scientists are really studying.

I guess that I am confused...I quit drinking in college 40 years ago (I acted cazy on it, it was expensive, and I felt terrible the next day.
So am I supposed to start drinking in moderation to help my health and depression?
