I can relate to much of what you say....I too find it a daily struggle and have lost interest or pleasure in almost every enjoyable activity.  Work is a perpetual struggle and it pains me to be doing lesser work than my abilities because my focus problems are huge.

I have a week off and planned to restore some order to my home but find that mybed is beckoning....

Now here is where we differ you and I....I think all the time about death.  Most recently I have started purchasing things which I can't afford and would never ordinarily buy just to have something of value to leave behind if I do.

    How is that for weird.

    Hi there,

I can relate to a lot of the points you mentioned. I thought I was the only one that craved sleep. I really do feel tired a lot even when I have gotten significant amounts of rest. Sleeping is one of the few times when I really feel at peace. I also dream vividly and often. It's almost kind of fun to get to go to a "dream world" every night. During the day I try to fight it, go to the gym, get things done that sort of thing. Lately, I've been doing ok with it which is a good feeling.

I was just wondering...how old are you? How long have you been on meds? You mentioned that meds help with your anxiety - that's good. I find that although lexapro helps significantly with my depression, I still get a lot of anxiety. I often wonder if I will ever be free of that feeling...I've felt this way for so long, maybe it's just part of who I am??? I'm not sure, but I think the less anxious I feel the better off I'll be. Working out helps with my anxiety...but a lot of times it's just a temporary relief and then that annoying feeling comes back - especially at night.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best of luck to you. :)
