I am 30 years old and a long time sufferer of depression, anorexia, panic attacks, etc... I've tried all the anti-anxiety meds and antidepressants, all the "self medications." They providedd short term relief, of course. Just recently I took the leap of faith and offered my self to the Lord Jesus Christ, and WOW! My mind has been transformed. I used to think that faith in God was nothing more than opium for the masses. But that thought has ceased, for my life has changed. My will is His will. Glory Glory! Hallelujah! Since I've laid my burden down!
I had been molested at age 19. Then at age 23 being sexually abuse because due to the fear of my abuser who was a friend said that he could commit sucide if I did not submit to his sexual act. This last for about many many times. It was foolish of me that I could not break him off because of fear. EVENTUALLY, I wrote a letter to say that if He would harrasle me I would made a police report. I thank my God that i took this step of faith to do it. And that made him stopped disturbing me. Though, I was badly abuse sexually. The Lord has saved my life. I had also gotten married and have 2 lovely children. God is good to me. He is also restoring and healing me of my abuse. With God all things are possible. He loves me very much.
