I have been on Zoloft for 13 years since my daughter was born and I experienced awful post partum depression. I was put on zoloft after 18months of hell! It was a true miracle and worked beautifully. I took 50mg then and did for the next 10 years. My doctor raised the dose when my marriage fell apart 3 years ago to 100mg. I am noticing that I am feeling flat...nothing like my original depression but there are hints of it. My GP wants me to raise my zoloft to 150mg...my depression is linked to hormones and I am perimenopausal. Now I'm not sure if I'm experiencing the numbness of long term use and should reduce the dose or raise it again. I will talk to her about it.
