    I have been on and off anti-depressants for almost forty years. Some , especially the SSRI's, did intensify or bring on, "suicidal" thoughts for me. Only because I knew that it was the drug causing the increased suicidal thoughts kept me from doing something...

    Two, prozac and Exeffor, did make me feel violent and I am not a violent person.

    A wise doctor realised that the old tricylics work better for me but some will still increase suicidal thoughts for me.
