Out The Door I'm a mom who has depression. I also have multiple screosis. My ex left because he felt that I was faking all this to get attention. He left me and my daughters for a family right next door to us. He didn't have anything to do with children till my youngest finished high school. This hurt my daughters very much. They had to deal with me and put up with his new family's meanness. They pick on my daughter in school, on the school bus and the woman even went as far as calling my youngest a dog. If his daughters try to visit him at any time she would call the police and have them arrested. My daughters came though this and they forgave their father, but the youngest dose not trusht him or the other woman. He call Elizabeth and wanted to come and visit him at his house. He lied to her repeatedly over the phone. The pain is so deep and she does not trust what they have to say. I can't fix this any more for them. The roles can and do change in some families. These like this should never happen to the inance children, they are put in the middle and people expect the children to choce between the parents. There is not choce that should be made. They are our children and the scars nevre really heal. These act affect their lives for ever.

These should be address in parenting classes that the parents take. I glad you address this subject so may be all people read and learn more. There are so many single parents now that it is seen as normal and the abease of one parent can affect a child life. It takes team work to raise a child.
