Just when you think everything is better...the darkness reappears. All of a sudden I'm brought back to my past, i feel the numbness, I'm scared. I don't understand it, why does it come back. I have no one to talk too, they all will just feel sorry for me, i dont like that. I wish i could be strong......

    Hi there

I am sorry you do not have anyone close to you to talk to.  so you think you will just get sympathy?  have you tried to share with the people close to you?  you might be surprised.

I am glad you did come here...lots of support here from people who will understand.

Yes sadly...you describe how depression can be.  It can come back and bring all the fears.  Did something traumatic happen in your past?  Can you talk about it?

Remember that the past is gone...it is just a memory now in your mind.  I have bad memories too and things which trigger them.  But you are safe now and things can be better.

You hang in there and write more if you are able.

Hello, I'd like to add to what Merely Me said and mention that it sounds like you're suffering from PTSD, as well.  Are you seeing a therapist or a doctor of any kind?  There is help out there for this, it is possible for past trauma to loosen its power over your life and I believe that facing it goes a lot faster than trying to run from it.  If it's something that happened to you as a child, it's that child part of you that is scared and needs to be reminded that it WAS in the past and now you can learn different ways of coping with your feelings.

We'd like to hear more from you, if you feel you can talk about it a little bit.  This is a very safe place to express yourself.  Take care.
