I can certainly relate to all you're feeling , especially being so tired. I think the combination of thyroid problem and depression is what's draining us of all our energy. I am learning not to push myself too hard when I'm not able to perform all my duties, I'm also learning not to feel guilty when I have to rest more. I am lucky to sleep 4 hrs at night and during the day I have to lay down and rest. My meds are working but the darkness never completly goes away. I always pray tomorrow will be a better day and thank God for helping me to get through today and enjoy every moment I can for life is a gift.

Yes ,being tired really sucks. But this is taking over my life. I am soooo tired that I can and so sleep all day at least until 4 or 5 then i'm back to sleep any tiime between 930 - 1030 sometime a bit later. It all depends on when the meds kick in. There are many nights that I've falling asleep while on the computer.

This tiredness is abnormal, I am a nurse so I can't be this tired all the time, it makes concentrated at work very hard, so when I go to the doctor tomorrow, it will be the first thing that I bring up. I find it very hard to get up to go to work, the last to shifts that I was to work I called in sick, cause I did not have the enegry to even get out of bed.

I can no longer handle being this tired ALL the time. I can easily sleep for 21 hrs and be up for 3 hrs then back to bed for another 21 hrs.

    Take care,

    Cheryl
