I found this website by accident and I am hoping to find others with depression to share with and maybe find answers.  I have been on effexor for about 6 years and I stopped taking about 2 months ago.   I  feel apart the last few weeks, returned to my doctor and decided to start effexor again.

Hello, Susan.

I'm so sorry that you've had such a rough life the past few years.  It also seems like you've suffered from depression for a long time.  I had my first bout of depression at 14 and still suffer at age 48 - despitre trying just about every medication known to man.  My family history is riddled with depression and suicide.  so, if you have some questions, I'd be happy to answer them.  Please write and I'll respond right away.

Here's to a cure for depression and to a happy life.

Curtain, Thanks, for your reply. I am a product of my mother and I wish I could be like my dad. I feel guilty also because I have so many blessings and yet I still feel so depressed and alone. Susan
