I recently joined a wellness center and found getting proper exercise is helping also.  Starting slowly by doing aquatic exercises in a warm pool helps to relax your muscles and in time build up from there to working on the cadio- vascular machines and maybe some yoga classes or whatever works for you. It can be hard to motivate yourself but if you do things gradually and try to look at it as a fun time and an opportunity to meet others makes it a little easier.  Sounds like you are on the right track to helping yourself feel better and accepting your condition .  Keep busy and don't worry be happy!!!!
