We are all different individuals and what works for one may not work for another.  Medication works differently on each individual.  Don't get discouraged, there is one out there for you.  It is a matter of trial and error.  Keeping your mind busy helps to keep the mind from becoming depressed although time for rest and relaxation is just as important. Communicating with someone who understands your condition when you have a bad day is very important.  Because one cannot see physically what your problem is can be frustrating .  dontworrybehappy!

I was lucky, my doctor and I found the medication that worked the best right off the bat.  While I will never be totally free of depression.  At least I can learn the skills to help me cope better, and live a meaningful life!

I recently joined a wellness center and found getting proper exercise is helping also.  Starting slowly by doing aquatic exercises in a warm pool helps to relax your muscles and in time build up from there to working on the cadio- vascular machines and maybe some yoga classes or whatever works for you. It can be hard to motivate yourself but if you do things gradually and try to look at it as a fun time and an opportunity to meet others makes it a little easier.  Sounds like you are on the right track to helping yourself feel better and accepting your condition .  Keep busy and don't worry be happy!!!!
