I know exactly how you feel. Have you told your doctor that you have been feeling worse? I don't know much about it as I am jsut starting out some medication myself but I read a lot about it. It may just be the wrong one for you. Everyone reacts to different drugs differently. Hang in there! I am here...

The previous comment is correct.  The doctors speculate which medication is appropriate for you.  They surmise based on your symptoms and whatever drug their pharmaceutical rep is pushing that month.  They are pretty good guessers for the most part but often have to try 2 or 3 drugs before they hit the right one.  Please know it takes 3+ weeks for the drugs to penetrate and impact your system, it's not an immediate relief.  It's VERY gradual and will happen over a short window of time once the drug accumulates in your system.  The doctor's ability to find the right med is based on how well you know yourself and what the drug is doing to impact change for you.    Hang in there!  I know it sounds defeating right now, but truly....this too shall pass and you will once again feel "normal".  In the interim do what makes you happy, go to a movie and laugh, play with children...whatever it takes to lift your mood, even temporarily.  Laughter is an awesome medicine!

    Take care of you!

ty you for your posts Smile they really helped. I am starting to feel better, just still in a fog. so I guess the medicine must be right for me, THANK God for that. I resisted so much to taking this, to have to keep switching would have been VERY hard for me.

    1) Eat a balance nutritional diet (low sugar)

    2) Exercise regularly (helps blood flow and increases good stuff to the brain)

    3) Take care of yourself, get enough sleep, listen to your body -- try not to get run down

    All these things help

    4) When all else fails....breathe in, breathe out, repeat as necessary!   tee heeLaughing
