Anybody else here had your heart ripped out and steeped on lately ?

Not lately, but in the past and it did take several months for the pain to subside and to feel that joy again of just being alive and being with my daughter (who was 3 at the time); I am afraid there are no magic words to get over that pain of having one's heart crushed, it takes time and it is also important to be open to the possibility of love in the future.  Situations do change and generally speaking, they get better; one just does not know when that may happen.  In my case, it took some years before someone wonderful came into my life and we have a great relationship.  Between the time before I met her, I raised my child, had fun with friends and enjoyed life.
