I've set a goal for myself and it seems that if I actually write it down and others can read it, maybe I'll try harder. My 40th b-day is coming up 2.27 and I was thinking that I want to go into my 40s feeling better about my health and weight.  I had forgot about this goal lately and what slapp...

    Hey there

     

    This is a good goal...and I think you will have a good chance for success if you break up your goal into little manageable bits.  And put the focus upon healthy actions...instead of the weight loss.  A lot of people lose weight....myself included...but gain it right back...myself included.  I lost about thirty pounds more than several years ago...and it took about a year.  I think a slow steady pace works well in the long term.  And yeah...February sounds good...five months....about three pounds each month...you can do this!

     

    I need to lose about ten pounds...maybe we can cheer each other on.
