That's what my dog has according to our recent vet visit. We're trying to set up some sort of payment option with the Vet to get his medicine. I hope that they will consider lumping his medication with our total sum. This is the only vet within 50 miles of me that accepts payments. And it's on the outer skirt of that 50 miles clocking in at 42 total.
I'm so glad that's over with but we still have lots of work to do with him. He does not eat much of anything at all really. Lost a good bit of weight already. But I feel better giving him broth since he'll take it and actually kinda likes it.
And his new medicine comes only in Pill form. So we gotta kinda force it considering he barely eats anything. I was thinking of dissolving it in the broth but not too sure if it's a good idea yet. Just a thought, really.
Anyhow, the vet took his chest XRay and saw what looks an awful lot like fluid in his lungs. No sedation XRay to be exact. He's pretty mellow when he's not feeling good. So now we have a pretty well confirmed name to go with our culprit. I thought maybe it was Pneumonia cause he was just like me when I had it. Can't catch a breath, feeling pretty lazy, hurts to breathe, and coughing just like me. Only thing he never did was caugh up blood and get a bit freaked out by it.
He's a damn trooper, though. We just gotta get his apetite back and I think he'll really take off on recovery.
I gave him a new nickname:
Warrior Dog.
Cause like a warrior he just keeps going and going and going no matter what. Even when he's so debilitated he wants to be with everyone and lay in the grass like he always has. Still wags his tail for new people and for us when we come back from wherever it is we went.
Wish Bugsy and I some luck while I'm away, please. I feel a little better but there's still a lot to be done so off to it for me.
Hope you are all having a good day
