I had carpal tunnel surgery last week. Just on the right hand, so I'm getting through life one handed... and it's my best hand 
This compression bandage is off now, and I'll get the stitches out next week... It looks pretty nasty right now. The doc gave me darvocet for the pain-but I don't like the way it makes me feel so I've been avoiding it.
I've been kind of in a dreamlike state between the surgery and pain, and painkillers. It's not a good feeling, but at least I'm still on the hill up from the bad depression.
