    Your post struck such a chord in me. When I was going through a major depression right before I was diagnosed, I let my car registration lapse for no particular reason. I ended up getting pulled over by the state police and given a ticket that was close to one week's pay! I look back now and see how dumb that was, but at the time it just seemed like too much to getit done on time.
