The Presidential election of 2008 is stacking up to be one of the most important in American history. Certainly, I think it's the most importan one thus far in my life. There are many issues facing us -- the economy, education, terrorism, the war in Iraq. BUT, let's not forget HEALTHCARE!

I don't think anyone can dispute that our healthcare system is broken. 47 million Americans have no health insurance. Having health insurance is no guarantee of getting needed care OR being able to afford it.

So, where do the Presidential candidates stand? You can find some information on our HealthCare '08 site.

You can find additional information on their web sites:

The first of the Presidential debates is tomorrow evening. It will be broadcast on the major broadcast networks and on cable news channels at 9 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. PT. Will you be watching? I hope so. I'll be recording it so I can both watch for any comments on healthcare and go back and listen again.
