Meet Our Depression Site Producer and Others at HealthCentral!

Good afternoon, everyone!   When I read the SharePosts here, I'm often touched by the cameraderie among our members and the sense of "family."   Many of us have our pictures on our profiles, so we get an idea of what others look like. Sometimes, that makes us feel closer to each other. ...

Hi Teri,

What a wonderful group. I hope that when I get back to work its doing something like what they are doing. I love multimedia production and hope to use my degree and experience someday. Hopefully jobs will open up soon around here.

Pat

BTW. I had to go to youtube.com to watch the video, the sound came thru(on healthcentral) but not the video. Not sure if it was because I was on netscape though..

Thanks again. It was nice to meet everyone.

Hi, Pat,

Not great quality, but it served its purpose. Hope you do find something in the field.

Sorry you had trouble with the video. It's fine in Firefox and IE. I couldn't check Netscape because I don't have it on my computer, and it's not available any longer.

So that's them. One of the things I like most about them, is they haven't thrown me off the sites yet. Tolerant bunch, I must say. Smile

Now we need to see the building and how it looks out their windows in that big metropolis.

Hi, Paul,

I'll snap some photos next time I'm there and share them!

Hi Teri,

I live 3 miles at most from their new office in Arlington.  Really should stop by there sometime and say "hi."

Teri,

A big thank you for introducing the DC crowd to us. I thouroughly Smileenjoyed meeting everyone.  I am also glad that we got to know a little about what all they do.

I, myself, did not realize just how involved you are Teri with so many websites. I started,  per neuro's request,  seeing a psychiatrist. I thought alot of my issues were due to the winter season. It seemed that with each year in the last 5 I was having more difficulty in dealing with the depression that I normally was experiencing.  I new that this depression was different than the depression I would experience because of the migraines.

Two winters ago I really was not coping at all. I could not understand it and especially my thoughts were getting too much for me to handle on my own. I can not say that I am any better. Well, maybe some but I am glad that I am under the care of the psychiatric community. I still am uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassed to let other's know of these health issues. With time I am sure that the two will come together as I get more of an understanding of this illness.

Back to the subject of this posting. I would like to thank you Teri for the time that you give to all of us in web land. My gosh Teri, I don't even know if you understand how important you are as our speaker not just in Washington but back home too.

Thank you Teri for all the steps that you have taken for everyone seeking answers and support to our individual health issues. I am sure you are deserving of a new pair of shoes by now.

=^!^=~~~@
