why is music the only thing to calm my soul?

By Natasha Robarge Sunday, November 22, 2009

Hi im always so depressed but when i get deppressed singing is the only thing that calms me down...i dont know why...everyone says i have a great voice but i dont know if its true....here's one song I made

Wake up on a star

wake up wake up on a star

shine up bright early on the moon as a shinning star coming up and waiting

so wake up wake up on a shinning star brightly shinning bold and proud never giving up to the clouds tonight

wake up wake up shinning star everyone's different in there own ways so dont give up so easy because its time to wake up...

Hi, I'm glad you've got your singing. We all need tools on our belt and it sounds like singing is a great one for you. Your song 'wake up on a star' sounds kinda hopeful - like you're fighting. I like it and only wish that I could hear you sing it. Smile

Hi Natasha,

That is beautiful!  I have thought for a long time how fun and wonderful it would be to have a nice voice and be able to sing - up on a stage, kereoke, to others, with a guitar.  It is such a wonderful gift to have!

I hope you can use your gift to cheer yourself up and make other people feel good.  I know I feel so good when I hear a pretty voice!  Who do you like as a singer?

Do you exercise?  Exercise gets my blood going and makes my depression better.  Also good nutrition and sunshine.

You are lucky you are gifted with a good voice and can write and sing your message to the world!

Blessings and I hope you feel better soon and your depression lifts. I hope you can appreciate  how lucky you are to have this great talent that God gave you!
