Before taking Viibryd, I went through months of testing and psychotherapy and treatment without drugs because I wanted to be sure the diagnosis was correct. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and PTSD for many years now. Viibryd is only the second medication I was put on but It has done wonders for me and with no side effects to date. And specificly, no sexual side effects. After taking it for a month, I could tell a difference. After 2months, I woke up one day and thought "I feel happy", which was extraodinary because the last time I remember feeling that, was in childhood. I have a few friends that were on many different medications for anxiety and bipolar and other disorders who started taking Viibryd and after 2months was able to completely do away with their narcotic anxiety meds and are very happy with Viibryd. I recommend giving it a chance.
