Hi. I am in my mid 40's and swear that "hormonal changes" are messing with my ability to fight my depression. I have been on so many meds and lately I seem to have mood swings every few days. I have not been diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder but dang, the swings are crazy. I have noticed a corelation with my cycle. Can anyone else relate to this? If so, have you found anything to be helpful. I'm feeling pretty hopeless most days.

I am also in my mid forties - and having hot flashes - although I've had them most of my life because of the meds - but it's worse now, and my mood fluctuations can make me crazy as well. I'm not bi-polar either, and still never get the highs - just sometimes worse depression than usual. It can certainly be crazy making, and the depression seems worse. I wish I had some answers - but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
