Hey.. I'm going back to school to get my GED. I've past everything so far except math.
I'm going through rehabilitation services and I hope they can get me on my feet. I need and want a job so bad! My boyfriend keeps pressuring me which makes it worse.
I get ss disability and it's not much.. I just hope once I loose it to try to prove to him I can work, I can keep that job. I worry about being homeless!
Scared,
Sherry
Dear jwalton,
I can certainly see how you are in a very difficult situation with your job. It is difficult for someone to tell you straight out how you specifically can find a job, but here are some things to think about to help yourself move toward discovering the answer. What kind of education do you have? What work experience do you have? What type of work have you done well in the past? What are your goals for a new job (besides making money of course)? What types of activities do you enjoy? Can you think of any jobs that involve them? In addition to thinking through these questions, I would encourage you to talk with family and/or friends. Often times people who know us well have good ideas for what we would be good at. I hope this is helpful.
Best of Luck!
Holly
