I'm a 16 year old girl who figured out that i had depression the middle of freshman year of high school.  My name is Kimberlee.  I tried taking my own life in 6th grade.  I realized that moving wasn't the cause.  I try to joke around about it so i don't feel like I'm the only one ...

what happened was that i knew that i wasnt alone

i was trying to get along with everybody

my long ass recovery started with talking to a theripist

after that i thought i was crazy

then i talked to a pschycologist

then i got put on antidepressants

i used to get very pissed off about it

    i hated them

i knew that one day that i would get better

    im getting better

    im in couceling now

im in a group that specializes in depression

i think that is about itSmile

keep up that long fight. There is an end,I know I'm not there yet. I knew a friend who has depression, she's very encouraging keeping me going. Find someone in your life or maybe something to look forward to, until the raging waters of a hurricane abate.

    Keep on going

    Don't stop for nothing.
