Hello I hope all are well. I think you will find one or two cartoons this week that might tickle that ol' funny bone. The split milk cartoon really hits close to home for me and I think that is why i like it so much.
Well, I hope to enjoy them and that every one takes a chance this week to help promote Mental Health Week. Every one can do something, the goal is just to get people talking about mental health issues... We can really make a difference just by helping one person understand one thing about us. By putting a face to the disorders make others understand that we are real people, not just something movies and media use in a story line.
If you not sure what you can do or you just don't know how to talk to someone about mental health issues then feel free to print us some of your favorite cartoons then use them to breach the subject with a friend or family member. laughter and humor is a great way to break the ice and help take the stress out of a tense subject.
Our ultimate goal is to help educate and that will help reduce the stigma of mental illness. For me I going to do it one cartoon at a time.
