Hi, Jon - nice to see you.  I don't understand a lot of things people do, either, and why things are the way they are.  I guess I try to look at it as all of us have free will and do whatever we think is best for ourselves or sometimes for others, but we don't have control over what others do.  There are many things in life that are not black or white situations, not necessarily absolute rights or wrongs - there's a lot of gray area.  Sometimes there is no sense to be made of it and we can only pray or send a blessing out there that it will turn out okay.  Sometimes all we can do is cry and then try to carry on.  I hope you are doing okay.
