But in a sense it really started in 1981, when I had been injured on the job and had three bulging disc that caused me to be off work for about a year and a half, I was 20 at the time of injury. My doctor recommended I talk to someone about pain management. Didn't really know what he meant by that but as it turned out it was talking to a therapist 1 to 2 days a week, depending where you were in your recovery. And in turn this started my search back in time 27 years ago to help figure things out. I'm still not really sure how it went from pain management to brain management. It has been a slow process that is still going on and unfortunately still exposing secrets that are painful and scary. Basic principle of therapy is that to know your enemy is to conquer your enemy, let me tell you those dirty little secrets are slippery as eels and usually gives you the same queasy feeling when handling them.

Thank you Lu Pen sooo much for sharing your story!!!! I can relate I too am a "Victim". Always trying to be accepted and loved, I am an easy target for those "Predators" or as my brother calls them "Vampires" because they will suck your blood dry until you die!
