Measuring Your Mood with Depression
So how you doin'?
This week has been....um....fast! Wasn't it just Monday? This week I am trying to find out what my son who has autism means when he tells someone they have "elevator hair." Does this mean they have high hair or hair on many levels? It is very intriguing. He has also been telling people they are "two faced jackals" from his favorite Disney movie, Aladin. It is always interesting around here!
Okay now how about you?
1. On a scale of one to ten, how is your mood this week?
2. What is the best and worst thing to happen to you this week?
3. What steps have you taken to improve your mental health or life circumstances? We do an awful lot of talking but what are we actually doing in actions and concrete steps to move forward?
4. How have you reached out to others this week? Depression can make usvery introspective and thinking only of our situations. It can also make us pull back from people who care about us and want to help us. Have you allowed anyone to help you or have you helped someone else this week? Tell us all about it.
I wish the best for you all. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and please do be kind to yourself. Tomorrow I am going to see "Alice in Wonderland." I am excited...getting out of the house...popcorn, raisenettes, Johnny Depp, what more could a girl ask for?
Happy Friday Y'all!
