Staying Hopeful with Depression

This site will always be targeted, as are many others, because there will always be those who think they can prey upon those they perceive to be weak.

 

History is replete with incidents of tempting those who are in the depths, and have grown hopeless and weary, with an easy way, with words twisted toward convincing them that everything thus far has been a sham, and that their way if the true way.

Everything you point out here is true and it's up to each member to guard the community, welcome those in need, those who wish to contribute purely from themselves, for the good of our members, without trying to lure them elsewhere for their own financial gain.

 

A method or idea has to tested by someone other than themselves and by more than just one peer review, and even then, by now, we have a healthy skepticism of easy cures. An idea with merit will stand outside scrutiny, will stand the test.

It's a way of making money. It's people who would sell their own mothers a phony cure, or treatment for their personal gain, I cannot stand.

If they say they are only doing what others do, there is still no right within that.
