April is National Autism Awareness Month

By Merely Me, Health Guide Friday, April 15, 2011

Hi everyone

It is Friday and this is a good time to talk about your week.  Good or bad we want to hear how things are going for you.

1.  How would you rate your week on a scale of 1-10?

2.  What were the highlights or good points about this week?  Doesn't have to be anything big.  Maybe you had a moment of peace or a feeling of hope.  Tell us about it.

3.  What was particularly challenging for you this week?  How did you cope?

Wanted to pass along just a couple of links to you.

April is National Autism Awareneness month.

On our ADHD site you can see some of my son's artwork (he has autism) and hear about the latest research finding that people with autism have more developed areas of the brain for processing visual information.  Come and check out my article, Autism and Visual Thinking.

It is also National Rosacea month.  On our skin care site you can take a quiz to see if you might have rosacea.  Make sure that you do see a dermatologist for an exam if you suspect that you may have this skin disorder.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.  Thank you for all your participation on MyDepressionConnection.  We love to hear from you!
