Before I share some links just curious as to how many of you will be watching the royal wedding tomorrow? I dunno...I am just not enthralled by this. So much pressure and hooplah for one event. What are your thoughts?
Wanted to share some things going on with our site as well as other Health Central sites.
Posts from MyDepressionConnection Members
I want to thank our members for writing some great posts this month. Here are just some of the highlights:
Donna-1 has written The Greening of a Metaphor about her recovery from a debilitating depression and I have to say her writing blew me away. Donna has a way of writing which brings you there with her...you are seeing and feeling the world through her eyes. This is simply a beautiful piece of writing...which offers hope to anyone battling depression.
Trinaof2 has been posting about her experience taking Cymbalta. It doesn't seem to be going so well so far. If anybody has an experience to share about taking this medication or can provide some encouragement and support I am sure it will be appreciated.
- Nephilim is writing about an issue which affects many people and especially women. She has concerns over self esteem and weight gain. If you have some suggestions or a story to share related to this topic I am sure she would love to hear from you.
Lene Andersen from our Rheumatoid Arthritis site wants to share some news about some upcoming events on RA Central.
MyRACentral is celebrating National Arthritis Awareness Month throughout May and will update their Awareness page every week. They will also be holding weekly contests. So you may want to stop by the RA site to catch all the excitement.
On our ADHD site:
Have you ever wondered whether children with ADHD can ever "grow out of it?" This is the question I posed to a couple of our experts to get their opinion. Come on over to see how this question was answered.
On our Anxiety site:
Have any of you tried any natural treatments for anxiety? Care to share? Here is your chance if you pop on over to our anxiety site.
Do you have a phobia? Most of us with phobias have some of the common ones...a fear of heights or a fear of public speaking. But what about those who fear garden gnomes or french culture. Seems there is a phobia for just about everything. Come on over to the anxiety site to see if you too have gnomophobia.
That is about it for now. Keep on writing and sharing. We want to hear from you!
